Bhausaheb Firodia Oldest Age Home is a trusted old age home in Ahmednagar. Here, old people are served and looked beyond religion, caste, creed, gender and are taken care of with love.
This old age home is providing services in more than 5 acres of land on Ahmednagar-Aurangabad road. All in society Orphans, destitute, poor, and needy old people are admitted here. To gain admission to the ashram the condition is that the age of the male should be more than 60 years and the age of the female should be more than 55 years.
In the year 1964, the late Shri. Bhausaheb Firodia (former Mumbai Assembly Speaker) established the old age home for old people in search of love and care.
For the development of the organization, Bhausaheb renamed the old age home in 1973, and the “Firodia old age home” name was kept.
Apart from facilities like Samajmandir, separate meals, TV for entertainment, hot water for 24 hours, hospital service, various activities are also carried out here for old people’s physical health and mental happiness.
Financially able seniors can also gain admission to the ashram by paying a monthly contribution. Admission to this section is subject to certain terms and conditions.
